Treats are for special occasions, and should only play a small part in your dog’s balanced diet. Even if they use their most convincing ‘puppy eyes’ to try to persuade you otherwise. For small dogs or puppies over 2 months old, we recommed breaking the treat in half for the perfect bite. Make sure fresh drinking water is always available.

Don’t just take our word for it...

See what other pet parents are saying about this product

I have it on good authority from my elderly dog that these are scrumlitious, her word not mine. Must admit the do smell amazing, nice size shaped like a leaf just soft enough to chew but not sticky on her teeth

We give these after they have eaten certain foods. They seem to work and they like eating them.
Maria O'Donnell
Really good for my boxer as their stomachs are so sensitive we have to know the treats are a good quality

We normally give our dogs dentastix, but our 16 year old is finding it hard to chew them, also has had smelly breath. So I googled and up came these, but he is also very fussy at the moment. I guess he’s entitled too at the grand age of 16 !!!!! But at this moment in time he loves them, so will continue with them. Also a company from Devon
Michelle Bourne
Both my dogs really love them and now they have fresh breath

Not sure what it tastes like having not tried it myself but the dog loves them!

Great little treats and you can really smell the peppermint. Our girl loves them.

My Border Terrier has suspected rumbling pancreatitus and we were looking for a treat that was relatively low fat. This fits the bill and hasn't caused any problems so far.

My pup really likes these treats. They are not powdery like some and have a pleasant smell, which caught her attention as soon as I opened the pack. As yet, she hasn't had many so I can't say if it has made a difference to her breath.

FAQs

Unfortunately, it is possible to overfeed treats so as much as we love our four-legged friends, it's worth being cautious about how many treats you feed. Dogs who are given too many treats can end up with the following health problems:

  • Weight Gain: An overweight dog isn't a happy dog, being overweight can put a strain on joints, bones and the overall likelihood of serious health concerns increases dramatically. It's always best to seek advice from your vet if your dog starts putting on excess weight.
  • Nutrient Deficiencies: Although even the best and most natural treats can provide some valuable nutrition for your dog, If treats make up a large portion of your dog's diet, they may not be getting enough of the essential nutrients from their regular food.

Each dog is different so exactly how many treats is difficult to say however we wouldn't recommend exceeding more than 10% of your dogs total daily calorie allowance in treats. For an accurate calorie calculation, you will need to speak to your vet.

Each dog is different but in our experience high protein baked treats are a hit! They are easy to take on the go and can be broken so that you don't accidentally overfeed. Lots of treats on the market contain cereals and junk so opt for natural treats when you can.

If you're looking for something you already have at home, carrots, broccoli, seedless apple slices and rice cakes can be inexpensive alternatives to ready made dog treats. Be careful to check what fruits dogs can eat before treating.

Our soft treats can be enjoyed from 2 months + making them perfect for dogs or puppies.

Whilst our natural cuts treats can be enjoyed by slightly older puppies 4 months +.

Our dental sticks are suitable for dogs aged 1 year +.
