We’ve got some tail-wagging news to share, and it’s a big step forward in our sustainability journey. Our team has been working hard behind the scenes to reduce our pawprint on the planet, and we’re excited to announce that all our new Cold Pressed dog food bags are now made with recyclable packaging.
This positive change means that across our entire range, we now achieve 99% recyclable packaging (by weight), an important milestone in our mission to protect the environment for future generations of pets and people.
We know our customers care deeply about making sustainable choices, and packaging is a big part of that. By moving our Cold Pressed bags to recyclable materials, we’ve taken another important step toward a greener future.
To make this possible, we’ve slightly adjusted the materials used in our bags. The result? They’re now stronger and more durable; no more accidental rips when you open them. The trade-off is that they can no longer be torn open by hand, so you’ll need to use scissors instead. A small change for a big environmental win.
Not sure if your Cold Pressed bag is one of our new recyclable packs? Here’s a quick tip: look for our on-pack recycling message and updated packaging design. And don’t forget, our Cold Pressed bags are resealable, making them perfect for keeping food fresh and for taking on-the-go adventures with your best friend.
While our new packaging is cause for celebration, the food inside is just as important.
Our Cold Pressed natural dry dog food is:
Great for good gut health: Made using brewer’s yeast, chicory root, and MOS (mannan-oligo-saccharide) to help support healthy digestion.
Made with natural ingredients: We do as little as possible to them before they reach your dog’s bowl.
Gently cold pressed: Ingredients are pressed at low temperatures to create bite-sized pieces that are easy to digest.
Rich in omega 3 & 6: Thanks to added salmon oil.
Packed with essential nutrients: Including fruit for vitamins and minerals.
Suitable for dogs aged 2 months+: Giving dogs of all life stages a healthy, grain-free meal.
This packaging update isn’t just about one product; it’s part of our ongoing work to make Forthglade as planet-friendly as possible. From our recyclable wet food trays to our eco-conscious treat pouches, we’re committed to minimising waste and maximising recyclability across the board.
